Michael P. Driscoll DVM

Dr. Driscoll grew up in Alabama and decided at a very young age that he wanted to be a veterinarian just like his uncle.  He later attended college and veterinary school at Auburn University where he graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine in 1980.  After completing his education Dr. Driscoll then moved to Cheyenne in 1980.  Dr. Driscoll opened Broadmoor East Veterinary Clinic and Broadmoor East Boarding and Grooming in the summer of 1989.  Dr. Driscoll's veterinary interests are in anesthesia and pain management, reproduction, endoscopy, and surgery.

He is a member of the America Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), the Wyoming Veterinary Medical Association (WVMA) where he has served as president, vice president, member at large, and other board positions. He is active with the Cheyenne Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA).  He is a member of the Association of Avian Veterinarians (AAV), and affiliate member of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), and a member of the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management (IVAPM). He is the Dexdomitor/Antisedan Local Expert representative for Southeast Wyoming, Northeastern Colorado, and Western Nebraska.  He served as the Ticket Committee Chairman for Cheyenne Frontier Days 2000-2002 and is currently serving as a member of the Board of Directors for Cheyenne Frontier Days Buckle Club.

Dr. Driscoll has been married to his wife, Beth, an elementary school teacher, for 30 years.  They have two children, Jesse and Jeremiah, and two grandchildren Jackson and Raleigh.  Their animal children are two dogs Bella, an Australian Shepard; Bailey, a Carin Terrier; and a cat named Dinah.  

In his spare time Dr. Driscoll likes to work outside gardening and landscaping at his home, playing tennis, reading, and he is currently learning the craft of leather and rawhide braiding.








                   Raven Novak DVM

Dr. Raven Novak lived in numerous parts of the U.S., but spent a majority of her time in Arizona.  As a young child she knew she wanted to have a life with animals and became a veterinarian.  She was a certified veterinary technician for 12 years, always keeping focused with her long-term goal. She received her Associates degree at Phoenix College and Bachelors degree in Agribusiness and Environmental resources with a minor in Veterinary medicine at Arizona State University.  Dr. Novak then attended Colorado State University, where she earned her degree in Veterinary Medicine in 2000.

Dr. Novak has worked in several different fields of veterinary medicine, from USDA field research, where she has published several journal articles, to laboratory research, shelter medicine and private practice.  After graduating from CSU, Dr. Novak went to Arizona to work in private practice and found herself at the 2004 Shelter of the Year, Arizona Humane Society Second Chance Animal Hospital providing care to sick and injured stray animals where she was featured on the Animal Planet show, Animal Heroes- Phoenix.

Tired of the big city, Dr. Novak moved to Cheyenne and made Broadmoor East Veterinary Clinic her home.  Her veterinary interests include diagnostics, soft-tissue and orthopedic surgery, radiology, and the human-animal bond with compassionate care to the final end. 

Dr. Novak has been a member of the Cheyenne Kennel Club and the Mile High Rottweiler Club for many years.  She is very active in showing her dogs in AKC, UKC and International conformation shows, carting, obedience and rally trials.  She has several champion and obedience-titled dogs and recently attended (invitational only) the 2008 Eukanuba National Championship in California Dr. Novak enjoys life with her 7 Rottweilers, 2 French Bulldogs and 2 horses as well as outdoor activities and motorcycle riding in her spare time away from the herd.

 

 

 

 


 

 

            Dawn Reiter, DVM

 

Dr. Reiter was born and raised on a farm in Kearney, Nebraska.  She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska Kearney.  She graduated from Iowa State University, College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009.  She then did a one year small animal rotating internship at Oradell Animal Hospital in Paramus, New Jersey. Her veterinary interests include acupuncture, internal medicine, and neurology.

 

 

Dr. Reiter joined Broadmoor East in 2010.  She was eager to return to the west to be closer to her extended family.  She lives at home with her two Beagles, Elvis and Belle. When not working, she enjoys hiking, camping, and all other outdoor activities.
